Hi, my name is Matt and I am an amateur photographer who loves to travel and see the special wildlife and places this planet has to offer and have been very lucky to experience some amazing adventures. This site has a few of my pictures from my travels and I hope you enjoy.

Amur Leopard

Less than 10 years ago there were only 30-40 animals left in the wild. They now believe there are 80-100 and what a success story and one that should be celebrated.
Note one of my images has been selected to go into the Remembering Wildlife Leopard book due out Oct 2023. One of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Peru

A selection of photos from a truly amazing country. This trip reminded me what real adventures are like and had some amazing wildlife signings but not all, so a great excuse to go back. Got a little carried away re pics but I hope you enjoy.

Borneo

A trip that had been booked almost 4 years earlier but due to covid was constantly moved. Finally got there and wow it did not disappoint.

Amazing trip to Antarctica, St Georgia and Falkland Islands. Managed to see 7 species of penguins.

Kingfishers

This is one bird I never tire of photographing and luckily have a couple of locations where the set up and people running are just fab.

India Leopards

My third trip to India and best leopard experience to date.

Battling Jays

Had a great couple of days at Alans hide in Kirkcudbright and managed to get a few action shots off Jays. I wasn't aiming for Jay pics, but happy to get a few

Otters

A mixture of otters, some from a great trip to mull and the nighttime ones from a fab hide in Lincoln run by Tom.

Eagles

Some gorgeous eagles from the north - White Tails from Mull and the magnificent Golden from Sweden with the great guide Conny

Chimps Uganda and Rwanda

This was a spur of the moment trip and wow what a trip, managed to see Chimps in both Rwanda and Uganda and have to say I was more moved than I ever expected.

Gorillas - Rwanda and Uganda

Similar to the Chimp experience, but I think this one was even better as so cool to walk among these magnificent animals - even if I did get kicked by one young male. I was lucky enough to the the Habinyanja group in Uganda and Agashya group in Rwanda.

British Wildlife

A great visit to the British Wildlife Centre down in Kent. Great to get to see British wildlife so close up

Ohio Zoo

I know most frown upon zoos, but this one in Ohio had a great ethos in that it did a cheetah breeding programme to help recovery, but then used the cheetahs to try and educate people more about what is happing in Africa and how things need to change.

Venezuela Harpy Eagles

We finally got to see this amazing bird on our second attempt and it definitely didn't disappoint. Pictures not great as light was horrible, but how can you not show of this monster of eagles.
